Sunset Financial (SFO) announced last week that they have a new CFO, replacing Michael Pannell who resigned.

Mr. Pannell was smart in resigning, because he would have probably been fired anyway. The shakeup at the company is underway, and its time for the major institutions to unlock the real value of the company. In my eyes, the stock should be trading closer to $11 a share, or the actual NAV (Net Asset Value).

For full disclosure purposes, I own shares in the company.

As for our, it seems as if the deal is going to go through. We will take our 7% profit on the stock shortly. If not, I will let you guys know when to expect a check in the mail for those who own shares. I can not complain, but the stock is worth $8.50 at the very least.

Our small caps for the most have been holding steady this past month, as we heading into the final three months of the year.

I will continue to stay defensive until the price of oil drops significantly. Then, there is a real catalyst for a bull market.

Warm Regards,
Chris Lahiji
