I wanted to let you guys know about my favorite stock at the upcoming Roth Conference. Ever since I selected Linktone (LTON) as my favorite selection at Roth last year, I have been on a hot streak.
Hopefully, it with continue with SYS (SYS).
The stock could be juxtaposed with another previous recommendation, Henry Brothers (HBE), but I think these guys are executing a lot better than Jim Henry. Don't get me wrong. HBE is up (almost 20%) from where I showcased it to you guys, but SYS looks to have more promise in my opinion.
SYS provides a variety of technical and professional services to government agencies and corporate clients. The company's areas of expertise include engineering, information management and information technology services, logistics, and training. SYS's services include systems engineering, network design, project management, consulting, and legacy migration. The majority of SYS Technologies' revenues comes from the DoD (Department of Defense).
This month alone SYS has signed some pretty significant deals, with average contract signings increasing year over year. In the past 12 months, the company has bought out a few smaller players that it believes with be complementary to its homeland security products, and even though it is causing share dilution, cash flow is growing nicely.
I'm not saying that this stock is the next Hansen (HANS) http://www.lahiji.com/companies/hans.shtml , but I do believe that numbers will continue to grow and the contract sizes will consistently get larger and larger, as they add to their security wireless products and services. If they announce a large win, stock could break its 52 week high quite easily.
